Kamilla Gorter
User Experience and Service Designer
This experience recipe book from UX & Service Designer Kamilla Gorter guides you through the meaningful, human-centered experiences she has crafted over the past few years. My journey began with a fascination for how people interact with products first explored through food, packaging, (digital) products and consumer behaviour during my Bachelor in Food Innovation at HAS University of Applied Sciences. What started as a passion for shaping physical touchpoints evolved into a broader interest in understanding users, their contexts, and the systems around them.
During my Master’s in Industrial Design at the Technical University of Eindhoven, I deepened my design approach by integrating material-driven research with user insights, co-creation, and iterative prototyping. A semester at Aalto University in Finland further expanded my perspective, allowing to explore service design, emerging technologies, and experience-driven methodologies ultimately strengthening the foundation of my Final Master Project.
Guided by curiosity and empathy, I bring together UX, service design, and visual communication to create intuitive, interactive, and often multisensory experiences. I approach design as a layered system where user needs, digital interfaces, physical interactions, and emotional responses must work together seamlessly.
This experience recipe book serves as a portfolio of my work: a collection of thoughtfully crafted “design recipes” that illustrate how she transforms insights into engaging, user-centered solutions.
